Event Description
In July 2009 the Pikes Peak Roofing Contractors Association donated labor and materials to install a new roof on the McAllister House Museum building. They are coming to our rescue again by donating a new roof for the Carriage House. The aging and damaged shingles have allowed water inside the Carriage House putting our Quilt Collection at risk.
On November 14, 2012, weather permitting, members from numerous roofing contractors will come to rip off the old roof and use donated shingles from roofing suppliers to solve our problem.
