Historic Monument Merchants Association (HMMA) has hosted Small Town Christmas on the first Saturday in December for many years. This year, the Association has broadened the event to three consectutive Saturdays. Many stores will host events each of the following dates, November 24, December first and December 8 from 10-2.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at La Casa Fiesta from 10-noon each of these three Saturdays. There will be carolers, hay rides, reindeer, and crafts for all.

November 24 (Small Business Saturday): Two local authors have written two mysteries set in the Pikes Peak Region. Bert Entwistle has written The Drift set in the Cripple Creek area and John Dwaine McKenna has written The Whim-Wham Man set in the Tri-Lakes area and the Air Force Academy. Both men will be at the store signing their books from 11-1 p.m.
December first: Two children's authors will be at our store this Saturday morning. Kris Abel-Helwig will read from her "I Love You" series at 9:30 and will be available to sign this adorable series from 10-noon. From 11-1, Barb Tyner will be signing the last title in her "Badger the Dog " series, Badger Grows Up. All her books will be available to sign.
December 8: Lego Activity Day at the store. Come by for fun and a chance to win a Ninjago Brickmasters set.
