Are you ready to change a habit, keep a New Year’s resolution and make a dream come true?

Three local residents - Sandy Halla, Lavonne Henry and Valerie Smith – embarked on that journey two years ago after attending an event at abaTina Boutique where the book, “This Year I Will …” by M.J. Ryan was discussed. It had been recommended by Tina Fredrickson, store owner and former educator. "I had read many books on this topic but was still unable to achieve my goals,” Fredrickson said. “This book was different, offering individualized suggestions, support, and accountability."

Fredrickson and her daughter, Jen, helped get the group started. They met weekly to discuss the book, to identify and set individual goals, and to share their progress and struggles. Two years later, the ladies still meet and use "This Year I Will..." as their guide while creating new goals and milestones.

Join us Wednesday, January 23 at 7 p.m.to learn more about M.J. Ryan's techniques for breaking goals into clear, achievable steps that can lead to success for anyone wanting to make changes in the areas of their lives where they seem stuck. The charter members of the abaTina Boutique group will be on hand to discuss their successes and answer questions about the secret to their success of staying on track. Light refreshments will be served and all participants can enter to win a gift certificate to the store. The book will be available for $16.95 plus tax.
