InnovAge, a nonprofit organization that serves as the comprehensive resource for Colorado’s aging population, recently expanded its InnovAge Home Care program and is now providing services in Colorado Springs.

“Expanding our services to Colorado Springs was a natural extension for InnovAge Home Care and allows us to increase access to the best care options available for seniors in Southern Colorado,” said Jennifer Rhodes, RN, executive director of InnovAge Home Care. “The InnovAge Home Care team is honored to serve the Colorado Springs community, offering a wide range of in-home services and companionship as well as information and support to help individuals to continue to live safely and comfortably at home.”

Joseph Farr, MBA, was recently named business development director for InnovAge Home Care and will focus on the Colorado Springs area.

“We are thrilled to welcome Joe to the InnovAge Home Care team,” said Rhodes. “Joe’s hands-on experience in home care and his community connections, as a long-time Colorado Springs resident, make him ideal for his new role as our business development director.”

Prior to joining InnovAge Home Care, Farr was the owner and operations manager of ComForcare Home Care in Colorado Springs for five years. In 2009, Summit Home Health Care acquired ComForcare Home Care. Farr continued in his role as operations manager at Summit Home Health Care for two years. Farr served as the president of the Senior Resource Council Board in Colorado Springs in 2008 and 2009 and past president in 2010. During his time on the board, Farr served as the chair of the Senior Resource Council S.A.F.E (Safe Aging For Everyone) health fair – an event that provided information and education to more than 300 seniors and their families. Farr earned his master’s in business administration degree in information systems and marketing from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
