Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Stuart Simpson, Navy Recruiting District Denver, discusses military service with eighth graders Nov. 12 at Patriot Learning Center in Falcon School District 49. Simpson was one of three servicemembers who volunteered to visit the school as a tribute to Veterans Day, Nov. 11. They toured classrooms, where students asked questions about military training, global deployments and foreign cultures. Simpson explained specifics related to his career in ship hull maintenance.
