Springs Ranch Elementary School Prepares for 'Fuel Up to Play 60' with Denver Broncos

Jeff Ingram, physical education teacher, calls up Springs Ranch Elementary School students Nov. 12 during a "Fuel Up to Play 60" event in Falcon School District 49. Throughout the 2012-2013 school year, numerous school events will encourage students to make healthy food choices and commit to 60 minutes of exercise every day. Fuel Up to Play 60, a program founded by the National Dairy Council and NFL, empowers students to make healthy dietary choices and lead active lifestyles. Springs Ranch Elementary School is adhering to a national model for coordinated school health, as well as the Pike's Peak Region Healthy Schools Initiative.
