Retired Navy Capt. William Marshall discusses his military service Nov. 15 at Falcon Virtual Academy in Falcon School District 49. The blended learning center was participating in The History Channel's Take a Veteran to School Day, an evening sponsored by Comcast. Marshall talked about reporting in August 1962 to Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba, and then evacuating his family in October. He shared his global experiences, covering 33 years of military service. Marshall commended today's troops, calling them the best trained in U.S. history.
