In celebration of Bike Month and World Environment Day, the City of Colorado Springs is hosting a free tour of Colorado Springs trees via bicycle starting at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2011.

Four local Modern Woodmen of America chapters received national recognition for their commitment to the children of military men and women. Modern Woodmen members from Colorado Springs raised $1,100 to send military kids to camp through Operation Purple. This was more than any other members in the country.
