2013 Colorado Springs Rubik's Cube Competition at Fountain Valley School of Colorado

April 6, 2013 from 8am to 6:15pm
The Mile-High Speedcubing Group presents this event which is sanctioned by the World Cube Association. The event is open to all ages and skill level. Events will be held in 2x2 through 5x5 layer cubes, plus Pyraminx and Megaminx (twisty puzzles of different geometric shapes). In addition, events in 3x3 BLD (solving while wearing a blindfold) and 3x3 OH (solving one-handed) will be held, along with a fewest moves contest. The $12 registration fee includes lunch. Unfortunately it's a bit tricky sometimes. Blogs and stories are pretty much interchangeable, but creating a story allows you to target a community, whereas creating a blog post does not. If you have a story about a Fountain Valley School student who is from the Powers area and you want to get the word out to the Fountain and Powers communities, make sure you are a member of both, then create a story *from each community* page by clicking "Write a Story" on each page. Then the story will be filed under the community and come up in the community's news stream. Weird, I know! :)
