Brain Booster 5K at Cadet Field House

March 30, 2013 from 10am to 2pm

Recycle for Hope

Rachael’s Ribbons of Hope is hosting Recycling for Hope. This electronic recycling event will be at UVC shopping north parking lot on July 23, 2011 from 10am till 2pm. Blue Star Recycling will be out to pick up the recyclables. Recycle unwanted televisions, computers, audio/video equipment, and small appliances. There are fees for TVs $1 per inch measured diagonally, computer monitors $10 each, and $5 for hard drive destruction; all donations raised by this event will go to support Rachael’s…See More

Rachael’s Ribbons of Hope Foundation is hosting the Annual Running for Rachael 5K on March 26, 2011 at the USAFA Falcon Stadium, check in begins at 9:00am and the run starts at 10:00am. Rachael’s Ribbons of Hope is a local nonprofit organization founded by family and friends of Rachael Newton. Rachael passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 14; she didn’t want other kids to have to go through what she was going through. Rachael's Ribbons of Hope Foundation will be hosting the Annual Running for Rachael 5K run/walk on March 26, 2011 at the US Air Force Academ Falcon Stadium.  This is the 4th year for this event, it is a fun but challenging course.  The proceeds from this event are donated to the Brain Tumor Institute at Children's National Medical Center for research of pediatric brain tumors.  This event is open to everyone; bring the kids and strollers out.  Same day registration and check in will start at…

Rachael's Ribbons of Hope Foundation has a couple of going on this month:
