The January meeting of the Black Forest AARP Chapter featured the installation of newly elected chapter officers and board members for the year 2014. Mr. Roberto Rey, from the AARP Colorado State Office in Denver performed the installation. The ceremony preceded the usual potluck luncheon meal.

The December feast and meeting of the Black Forest AARP Chapter was one to be remembered. The catered meal of turkey and ham and trimmings was supplemented by many delicious side dishes and desserts provided by the membership. Preceding the meal an entertaining program of seasonal and classical music was provided by the Fermatas, an ensemble of recorder players.
