D49 Board of Education Vacancy

Candidates interested int the D49 Board of Education vacancy must complete an application packet that consists of a letter of interest, affidavit of school director candidate qualifications, candidate questionnaire, resume and a list of three references.  These application packets must be received in the office of the Administrative Assistant to the Board of Education by 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012.

Horizon Middle School to Host Holocaust Remembrance

PEYTON, Colo. (May 9, 2012) -- Seventh graders from District 49’s Horizon Middle School will present today their second Annual Ceremony of Remembrance program.

Liz Dalzell-Wagers is one of 20 teachers, selected from more than 400 applicants, who attended a U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Western States Workshop for Educators last year. The workshop is free of charge to middle and high school teachers and includes books and teaching resources.

Hey Stephanie,
One of the next things I would do on this site is click on communities and join those that apply to District 49. Powers, Falcon and perhaps Black Forest and Eastern Plains.
To post stories in these areas, you place your cursor on the word "Stories" in the main toolbar at the top of the page then click "Write your story" when it pops up.
This will take you to a menu that is easy to follow.
Another way to post information is to click on "Blogs" at the top of the page.
When you write blogs and photos, click on the little camera icon to post photos.
