The American Girl Fashion Show is a fun-filled event for girls and their families, friends, and of course their favorite dolls! Guests will learn how clothing has changed over the years to reflect history, culture, and girls’ individual styles through a show featuring many of the familiar American Girl characters as they walk through time. More than 70 local girls will be volunteering their time to model historical and contemporary fashions while carry a coordinating American Girl Doll during the show. Every girl guest attending the show receives a special ‘goodie bag’ filled with a variety of American Girl Fashion Show items. In addition, door prizes will be given out and six American Girl doll packages will be raffled the day of the event.

This is the fourth year the Colorado Springs Alumnae Panhellenic Association (CSAPA) - a local non-profit community based organization - has hosted the event. American Girl allows nonprofit organizations such as CSAPA to host the Fashion Show fundraiser to leverage the widespread appeal of the American Girl doll to raise funds for children's charities. Proceeds from the event will benefit Kidpower of Colorado Springs and be utilized for programs that teach young people to use their own power to stay safe from abuse including bullying, assault and abduction.
