If you missed last year's Fall Concert by the Canyon Winds Concert Band, here's your opportunity to atone. Under the baton of Maestro Doug Downey, the band will be presenting its Fall Concert at 7PM on Thursday, December 13 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 701 North 20th Street (one block north of Uintah and one block west of the Uintah Gardens Shopping Center). The program will feature traditional seasonal favorites, marches, music from Hollywood, a special piece inspired by the beautiful Garden of the Gods, and of course a few surprises. The Brass and Clarinet Ensembles will also be performing. As always, admission is free, and as always, your generous cash donations will be enormously appreciated. If you play an instrument and would like to play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, then please consider joining the Canyon Winds. No audition is necessary and all newcomers are warmly welcomed. Information regarding joining will be available at the concert. So mark your calendars for Thursday, December 13 at 7PM at Trinity United Methodist Church.
