Kudos to El Paso County Commissioners for standing their ground against Colorado's State Oil and Gas Commission regulations, the same regulations that allowed groundwater contamination in this state!

According to the Gazette, those eager to mine 'sparsely populated' Colorado soil by frack wells, will have to monitor groundwater for years to come.

And the other good news is that this mining operation will create new jobs for five or six years.
