Tri-Lakes Lions Club welcomed our new Big R store to the community with a cake and warm handshakes to our newest retailer.  Lion Ron Farley and Lion Deana DeMeter arrived to a delighted Big R staff and shared a short informal ceremony expressing our community appreciation to Big R for coming "Up North" in El Paso County and the Tri-Lakes area. The cake was presented and everyone had a great time touring this brand new store. Ya gotta go see it, It's Greeeeeeeeat  (apologies to Kellogg & Tony The Tiger)

Our new Monument Big-R is roughly 35,000-square-feet and a little bit smaller than the two other Big-R stores in El Paso County. We "walked and wondered" around the new store displays with food areas for all our "Critters" big and small, and saw many other merchandise areas and even sporting goods areas. Lots of good merchandise and the cake was pretty good as well.

The Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has received numerous awards for its dedication to humanitarian service and outstanding work with partnership organizations. Establishing working relationships with community business like Big-R helps identify local, national, and international projects for Lions International support.  Tri-Lakes Lions Club welcomes Big-R and we all look forward to many years of commuity partnerships with our local merchants and community service organizations in meeting our Lions International mission of, "We Serve".  Come see the new Big-R and drop by our monthly Tri-Lakes Lions Club meetings at Monument Country Club on the first Thursdays of each month.  Picture of the cake is posted below.  Lions ROAR!
