March 1 is deadline to apply for FAFSA, KPWE scholarship at UCCS this year

You juggle family, work and have faced some challenges along the way. Now it’s time to get that college education for the sake of your family and especially for yourself.

You are encouraged to apply for the Karen Possehl Women’s Endowment Scholarship (KPWE) at UCCS.

-       Are you 25 or older and a Colorado resident?

-       Do you plan to enroll or are enrolled full-time at UCCS

-       Do you have a minimum 3.0 GPA?

-       Do you have a need for financial aid?

More than a scholarship

Upon receiving the scholarship, students will meet regularly with a mentor from the community and attend three social events per year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to receive encouragement and inspiration from the community at large.

Get admitted to UCCS

Fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1

Submit the Scholarship Application via the UCCS Portal by March 1
